12”x12” frame with approx a 9”x9” Michigan

Beginning with a sheet of 1/8 plywood I create An abstract art panel using acrylic paint and various items to create texture. When I’ve gotten enough layers and to the point I like I laser cut the shape of Michigan out of the “best” parts. Then I go back and refine the piece even more by adding and taking away again. I then adhere the cutout to another 1/8” piece of plywood and frame it. Artworks are signed and named on the back to not take away from the artwork.
